Pitcairn Trading Company Limited [ PTC ] was established to help service the business of carrying passengers and freight to Pitcairn Island; the company has used the capacity, skills and expertise to satisfactorily deliver project cargo for the establishment of an Alternate Landing on Pitcairn Island, during 2014. 


Graham Ward: Formed Pitcairn Trading Company having wide ranging experience in all aspects of shipping logistics and stevedoring operations. A career in shipping included 10 years in the British Merchant Navy and Deputy Harbourmaster in Gisborne. He qualified as Master Mariner in 1977 sailing as Master between Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.   Graham has many years experience in planning ship's stows for several shipcos and in stevedoring vessels for both Auckland Stevedoring Company and C3

Andre Wilkening: Has been involved in shipping since leaving the Army in 1994. He holds a 1996 NZ Diploma in Shipping Business and has wide-ranging experience within the industry encompassing Auckland Shipping Services, Auckland Stevedoring Company, P&O Stevedoring, Ports of Auckland Ferguson Terminal and C3 Stevedoring. He is familiar in all aspects of stevedoring supervision including unpacking & packing containers, storage, distribution, marshalling and inter-wharf transfers. In daily consultation with Ports of Auckland Ltd, Andre is an MPI Accredited Person, as well as an Approved MPI Transitional Facility Operator, and so has regular ongoing contact with the Ministry of Primary Industries and NZ Customs.
